Urge

You're feeling down,
But still you're standing up.
You're smile is on,
But instead you're emotionless.
You're moving around,
But stuck on the inside.
You're life is gone,
But somehow you're still living.
The urge is there,
To feel something special.
You want it now,
Something for emotion.
The urge is strong,
And you let yourself fall for it.
You let the urge,
Take control.
It grows so strong,
Inside you've lost hope.
That spark of life,
You got it from the urge.
The urge is gone,
There's something even bigger.
Hiding in the dark,
You've got no control.
You let go.
The urge is gone,
And so are you.

Love's Ideas

The idea of love,
I thought it was silly.
I believed it to be
a false lie of emotion.
But then that one person,
they changed my life.
I fell harder and harder,
everyday.
I became obsessed
with the idea of loving someone.
And love was
no longer silly.
Instead, it seemed
that I had love.
But my original
response was right.
I was a fool
to not push it away.
And I knew it,
yet I brought love closer.
And love decided
to do what it does best.
Love turned and stabbed me
in the heart.

Falling in love can be beautiful, but I learnt that all beauty is dangerous.

I Tell Him

Might I go to him?
Go to him and tell him?
Tell him what his beauty, inside and out, does to me?
That he, himself and no other, captures and continues to capture my eye?
That he has taken my heart from me?
And that I might not argue that he continues to keep it?
That he mustn't take me but at least accept that I might take him?
That I would not turn him away unless he asked?
Must I ask myself or even him to ever forgive my heart?
Forgive it of feeling the way it does?
Mad?
It is mad.
That is what my heart is.
There is nothing else to it.

Forgotten

I wrote this one day, when I was feeling quite confused. I was confused about who I was. I was confused of my feelings. So I wrote this:

Have I forgotten who I am?
Lost in a sea of water or woods of land?
Piece by piece my mind falls apart, lost in a time where my heart may stop.
But still, it beats on.
Willing to find the pieces and mend them together again.
Some where, it knows it's not totally forgotten.
So as it mends the broken brain, this beautiful mind starts to think again.
It starts to function and remember.
Oh, the pain of being forgotten.
That's why it broke into a million pieces.
And as he told the heart, it started to realize.
This person was officially forgotten.
So the heart cried and broke down into shining bright red pieces.
And there was nothing to stop it.

I have slowly started to recover, mentally and emotionally, but the heart and mind are not always the best of friends.
